Biodiesel from Hemp / General Biodiesel Information

To find biodiesel retail stores near you, see the map at: biodiesel.org ALGAE is the richest producing source of biodiesel on the planet – the world could produce all the fuel it needs by growing algae, and converting it into fuel. Algae could be grown on giant barges, floating on the ocean. Elephant grass is also a great source for biofuel; in fact it may be a richer producing source for biofuel than hemp. Join the youtube Biodiesel Group at www.youtube.com Feel free to leave comments here, on our future of replacing petro-fuel with biodiesel! Ethanol is NOT the way to go, because it is mixed with petroleum fuel, which we must stop using as soon as possible, to reduce global warming. Let’s give petro oil related companies huge monetary incentive to change over to bio-fuels. Instead of drilling for rare fossil fuel, the petroleum companies could switch over, grow algae on huge barges on the ocean and convert to fuel. Let’s grow algae local to the fuel use, so it does not need to be transported internationally, and spilled into the ocean. Cities can grow algae in their city waste water systems. We need to convert to carbon-neutral biodiesel / biofuels as soon as possible. We need to use cleaner fuels to make a healthier environment. Man-made global warming is a scam though – see my fuel from algae video for explanation. Thanks.

does hemp produce more fuel than algea?

  2. gypsy1961 says:

Yep! I am a flagger. They need to give us hazard pay for having to breath fumes from the vehicles going by all day. I found it so funny when someone yelled at me about the hazard of smoking as they drove their smoking car past me. Are these people willing to stop driving the gas fueled cars in return for me to stop smoking?

And during World War 2 also!

  5. Xgames13 says:

If we started using hemp for fuel, we wouldn’t have to pay another cent for fuel. This stuff should be grown on a grand scale. #1 Clothing, #1 Paper source, #1 fuel, #1 Medicine, #1 EVERYTHING. We need a hemp-based economy, this world is doomed if we don’t start using this gift from nature.

Did he say ‘according to the Zionists at PSU’. He probably said something else but it sounds a lot like it.

first off, your an idiot, please do use the internet to learn stuff,
if someone wanted to grow pot, they sure as hell would never want to grow anywhere near a hemp farm, or any hemp plants what so ever, hemp plants are male and give off pollen from their pollen sacs, pot plants that grow nug are female and get pollenated by males creating seeds, if a pot plant gets pollunated by a hemp plant the pot plants potency gets cut IN HALF, so why would a pothead want low potent pot????

    get a life

I’ll probably spontaneously combust soon unless this stupidity is put an end to. We have the same idiotic reasoning in Norway, that you could potentially hide high-THC plants in the field. Never mind the different look/size. If the US government does something, Norway usually jumps on the train, pretty fast.

Yes but on the other hand GO FUCK YOURSELF

  12. diabelek80 says:

ArtGoddess8 is right: they’re 2 different kinds of plants, form the same family. Learn how to use niternet also for learn something, moron

Preaching hemp is usually a social conditioning tactic to get people use to the idea of things like hemp and marijuana. Marijuana as “medicine” & hemp as fuel are “smoke screens” of conditioning. I’m sure nobody is apposed to hemp including me, but don’t think for a minute that hemp won’t be use to disguise the growing and transporting of pot! When I find a hemp advocate I find a pot smoker nearly every time. Burning anything for power is not smart, heat is what we need and geothermal is it.

I know that there have been times in American history where is was a citizen’s patriotic duty to grow hemp (to help support the economy/war effort)…but I don’t know if it was ever illegal not to (that would be involuntary servitude to say that someone MUST grow something or else be in violation of the law).

Either way, I think that hemp is a very useful crop that could realistically help us out of our current financial crisis.

  15. ArtGoddess8 says:

Biodiesel made from hemp DOES burn more efficiently than a lot of fuels-including other biofuels….which particular fuel did you want to compare it to d0peY12?

FlyMusic: Yes, there is significant evidence that hemp does yield more fuel per acre than conola, sunflower, corn, and many other biofuels. (Though I have heard that flax produces more oil per seed than hemp…I’m not sure if that is accurate and I have not yet compared the difference in number of aproximate seeds per acre…)

  16. d0peY12 says:

I also heard that hemp biodiesel burns more efficiently. Is this true?

  17. d0peY12 says:

did you know that during the revolutionary war (im pretty sure) it was illegal not to grow hemp.

    how times have changed.

  18. ArtGoddess8 says:

There is a HUGE difference between hemp and marijuana.

Hemp is grown for it’s fiber, oils, and other industrial uses and does not contain enough THC to get a person high.

Marijuana, on the other hand includes THC and a variety of other mind/body altering chemicals that may be used for recreational or medicinal purposes.

Both hemp and marijuana come from the same genus, cannabis which is banned in the US.

13 states legalized medical marijuana use, but industrial hemp growth remains banned.

  19. SeattleGuy1968 says:

    hi flymusic,
probably true that some crops yield more than hemp. However, remember the speaker is talking about feral (wild) hemp, which produces tons of more seeds to be converted into oil. The word feral is the magic key.

  20. flymusicbikealot says:

i agree, hemp and biodiesel all the way. but i read that hemp actually doesnt yield as much oil per acre than canola and sunflower. do other sources agree with your statement?

  21. FunkSquared says:

I understand the process of pollination, I’m just saying “low thc” means just the males. Feral hemp is better because it produces seeds, and males don’t; but the government will only let you grow males because you can’t smoke them.

  22. SeattleGuy1968 says:

    Funksquared,
he’s not talking about breeding only males. he’s talking about letting male and female plants live together and fuck so they can create seeds. the seeds grow on the female after the male pollinates her – just like a human being. Yep – you’re right I think he made point of a feral hemp crop being “low thc”, meaning that it is not something that kids would wanna try to get high off of because all they would get is a headache.

  23. FunkSquared says:

what i meant to say was that when he refers specifically to low thc hemp (which they are allowing even though it doesn’t have a good yield) he’s talking about breeding only males. people were thinking that he was talking about pollinated plants, which to most smokers is considered low thc.

  24. SeattleGuy1968 says:

    Exactly, Surf!
ALGAE FOR FUEL! READ UP ON IT! INVEST IN IT!
Hemp can be used to make damn near anything – we might as well use algae for fuel.

  25. SeattleGuy1968 says:

    awol,
yep, I heard that peanut oil was used in the first diesel engines.
