Our Intentions

We have created an online petition to the United States Government, our elected officials and governments of the world, to explore the use of a clean, renewable form of energy known as supplemental hydrogen on demand, as an immediate solution to lessen our dependence on fossil fuels and decrease greenhouse gas emissions.

To also stop the suppression of this technology by corporate interests and promote the manufacture and sale of these devices and further the research and development into this technology with grant monies to be made available under the President's Hydrogen Fuel Initiative.

The Preamble

There is a movement going on right now. Alternatives to fossil fuels are available and are technologically feasible. Sources of clean, renewable energy from wind, solar and hydrogen power are rapidly gaining popularity as concerns about rising energy costs and global warming affect all citizens of this planet.

Most people believe that our governments and elected officials have our best interests in mind. This does not seem to be the case when it comes to alternative energy. The oil and energy companies have a stranglehold on our governments and force them to thwart the efforts to introduce new types of energy sources that negatively impact their corporate profits.

A recent advancement in clean energy is the use of hydrogen as a fuel source. President Bush announced the United States was developing a hydrogen initiative to help wean America's dependence on foreign oil. What most people don't know is that the plans for the new hydrogen infrastructure will be modeled off the current petroleum fuel distribution system.

And just who will be controlling this hydrogen pipeline? The big oil companies, of course. And their sources of hydrogen? Petroleum and natural gas reforming methods, both of which are based on fossil fuels!

The use supplemental hydrogen to increase fuel mileage and decrease noxious emissions in motor vehicles has exploded in the past few years. Many people now realize the benefits of these devices and many manufacturers are having a hard time keeping up with the demand.

All this may soon change if the oil companies and government flunkies have their way. These types of devices may be outlawed and manufacturers of such products will be shut down.

The following text is taken from an email reply by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency to a citizen who inquired about the use of supplemental hydrogen systems and the EPA's position on them. (Read the full text here.)

I was asked to reply to your e-mail sent to an EPA web site.

40 CFR Part 85 Subpart F requires certification of aftermarket fuel conversions to avoid violating the anti-tampering provisions in Section 203(a) of the Clean Air Act. EPA considers supplemental fuel systems such as an on-demand supply of hydrogen to be a type of fuel switching. Official EPA emission testing uses equipment far more accurate and sophisticated than 5 gas analyzers. The certification process is very complicated and not inexpensive, and therefore not well suited for a one-off fuel conversion by an individual.

You will likely find may types of fuel conversion kits on the web, including hydrolysis kits. Most all are illegal and our office generally refers these to our Enforcement Office when they are brought to our intention. Vehicle owners who violate the requirements of Part 85 should realize the practical consequences of illegal fuel conversions - they include voiding the OEM warranty coverage for the vehicle if still in effect, and possible registration denial if you live in a state that conducts an inspection/maintenance test where registration of the vehicle is tied to having a valid underhood emission control label for a fuel converted vehicle.

This is the same type of "flat earth" thinking that has kept many important scientific discoveries that could have benefited mankind in the dark. We need to stop this type of thinking NOW, but we can't do it without your help.

Our goal is to reach 100,000 signatures and then present the petition to Congress. We need you to tell everyone you know about this website and the petition. Email your friends, tell your neighbors, co-workers and everybody who is fed up with the rising cost of energy.

Remember the words of American patriot, Patrick Henry, "United we stand, divided we fall."

Together we can make a difference. Together we can start a new revolution, a "Green Energy" revolution!

The Petition

We, the undersigned, as concerned citizens of this planet, and having a vested interest in conserving our natural resources and preserving our financial and economic stability, do hereby petition and respectfully request the President of the United States of America, our elected Senators and Congressmen, State and local governing bodies and foreign governments of the world, to investigate the use and efficacy of supplemental hydrogen on demand production for use as a supplemental fuel in motor vehicles and to have it de-classified by the United States Environmental Protection Agency as a type of fuel switching system.

While we appreciate the advancements made by the U.S. EPA in reducing and controlling pollution, we respectfully submit that real world testing of this technology by independent parties has shown that the addition of supplemental hydrogen into the combustion chamber of an internal combustion engine promotes a more complete combustion of our current petroleum based fuels thereby increasing fuel economy and reducing harmful vehicle emissions.

In addition, we also request that any attempts to suppress or impede the advancement of research in supplemental hydrogen on demand technology be dealt with as a criminal act and incur the same penalties as an act of high treason, and furthermore, that funding be made available under the Federal Hydrogen Initiative for research and development of supplemental hydrogen on demand technologies following the same procedures and guidelines as research in hydrogen powered fuel cells.

Sincerely,
The Undersigned
